Lama explains how he feared and avoided animals for most of his life, until an encounter with a cat inspired him to rescue abandoned animals and bring his message of compassion to the streets of New York. Lama tells the story of his remarkable change in consciousness and provides a compelling look at the ability of one person to make a difference.
