Our guest speaker — registered dietitian Angela Garcia — will speak about the health benefits of plant-based diets, and answer your questions about vegetarian nutrition.
She will also share information about the veg options available in the UGA dining halls. Find out what you need to know about this healthy alternative and how you can meet your daily nutritional needs!

The Witness
S.O.S held two free public screenings of the documentary film The Witness, which tells the story of Eddie Lama, a construction contractor from a violent Brooklyn neighborhood who was raised in a family with an aversion to animals. With humor and sincerity, Eddie describes his step-by-step journey to compassion. The Los Angeles Times said The Witness 'may be the most important and persuasive film about animals ever made.'
